Who's Life?? It's My Life

Have you ever asked yourself that question? Many times as I am preparing a school lesson, cooking dinner, cleaning up after someone, or running errands, I have asked myself that exact question. If this WAS my life would I really being picking up after my husband? Making a lesson plan for my daughter? Running my son to a practice? It seems like to me I am their life and they are planning what to do with my life. If it WAS my life would I choose to eat dinner in the living room? Read a book instead of mopping the floor? Take a long hot bath and not answer the phone? I guess I would do those things but what would I be missing? My child's first steps, a love note left from my husband, a picture to post on my frig? Yes, I would miss those things because they ARE MY Life. I am very grateful God chose me to be their Life.
